RECITAL POLICY
This year is a recital year: a large end-of-the-year stage show is presented. (Participation is optional) One of the most exciting, fun and valuable experiences is the extension from class to the stage. Performing is the incentive for students to perfect their work, giving the child assurance and accomplishment which will help throughout life.
Students are responsible to purchase their costume and a deposit is required in November. The remainder of the costume cost will be due in February or March. Once costumes are ordered, they cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.
A recital fee is charged and is due with the third trimester tuition. Our goal is to refrain from selling tickets to cover expenses. There is no admission charge to the public and you may bring audience members at no extra cost. The costume fee, recital fee and all tuition must be paid before April 5 on recital years.
On-stage rehearsals (at no extra charge) are required to perform in the recital. These will be scheduled class by class.
The students’ level of progress greatly improves when given the opportunity to focus on technique during a nonperforming season. This is the main reason we perform on stage every other year; cost is the second.
If you like to perform, you are at the right studio and gym.
